Emergency Removals under Title IX
In limited circumstances, the University may implement an emergency removal of a student or employee in response to a Title IX matter. This action is taken only when an individualized safety and risk analysis determines that an immediate threat to the physical health or safety of any person exists. Emergency removals are not disciplinary determinations, but temporary measures designed to address urgent safety concerns while the Title IX process moves forward. Individuals subject to an emergency removal will be notified and provided an opportunity to challenge the decision promptly.
